About our Clan

The Obsidian Hand was formed toward the end of Diamond Edition when we as a player base got the opportunity to remove Enlightenment via the Dark Lotus path. Sadly to say, after Crane won Worlds that year with the Obsidian Dragon + Passion in the deck, AEG deemed the deck 'tainted' and not 'corrupt' so Dark Lotus era was thwarted.

Since that time, our goal has been to corrupt as many players as possible (and with that, clans as well). Now that does not nessicarily mean that we have the Shadowlands trait or practice Maho. We believe in using cards that cause an honor loss for their powerful effects, reguardless the cost.

As the reign of the Divine Empress, Iweko the First begins, a new path we seek. The Scorpion destroyed the stronghold of the Kolat Masters and took the Oni's Eye from its long resting place.

Our Mission Throughout the rest of Samurai and Celestial Editions:

1) Reform the Kolat Organization

2) Replace the fallen Kolat Masters

3) Assassainate Tsuruchi Etsui for his treason

4) Punish the Scorpion clan for the destruction of the Hidden Kolat base, death of most of the Kolat Masters, and the theft of the Oni's Eye
